登录印度新德里,2017年3月21日,印度领先在线旅游app平台ixigo.com宣布获得由印度红杉资本领投、复星昆仲跟投的1500万美元的B轮融资。本次融资完成后,ixigo.com将进一步强化团队实力,扩大品牌影响力,加强公司在移动旅游搜索及预订方面的技术领军地位。
此轮融资完成后,ixigo创始人兼CEO Aloke Bajpai表示,“随着智能手机的普及,航空、酒店业强劲扩张,印度在线旅游市场正处于突破性增长的尖端。Ixigo.com在移动领域一直处于领先地位,近80%的用户和68%的交易都来自智能手机。我们希望能为每个印度旅行者提供值得信赖地个性化旅行建议,我们很幸运此次携手印度红杉资本和复星昆仲,共同努力实现我们的愿景。”
此次投资ixigo.com也是复星集团VC团队——复星昆仲在印度的第一个投资项目。

在过去的12个月中,ixigo.com的用户月度活跃数达到900万,交易收入增长了四倍。去年,ixigo.com推出了印度首个基于个人旅行的AI助手——ixibaba。
New Delhi, 21th March 2017 - ixigo, India’s leading travel search app has raised $15 Million (INR 100 crores) in its Series B round, led by Sequoia Capital India, with participation from Fosun Kinzon Capital, the investment arm of Chinese conglomerate Fosun International. ixigo will utilize the funds raised in this round towards strengthening its team, expanding its brand awareness, and reinforcing its technology leadership in mobile travel search & booking.
Announcing the fundraise, ixigo CEO & Co-Founder, Aloke Bajpai said - “The online travel market in India is on the cusp of breakout growth due to the smartphone revolution and strong expansion in the aviation and hospitality sectors. ixigo has been leading from the front on mobile with nearly 80% of our users and 68% of our transactions now originating on smartphones. Our vision is to empower every Indian traveller with trustworthy & personalized travel recommendations, and we are fortunate to partner with Sequoia Capital & Fosun International Kinzon Capital to work towards that vision.”
This deal also marks the first VC investment by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International in India.

In the last 12 months, ixigo has tripled its monthly user base to 9 million MAUs, and has grown its transactional revenue four-fold. Last year, ixigo launched ixibaba, the first AI-based personal travel assistant for Indians.
