More than 20 theme parks compete in The Yangtze River Delta

On 27th March, Shanghai Haichang Ocean Park held a global launching ceremony. It is expected that it will be officially opened in September this year, and will compete with Shanghai Disneyland, Happy Valley and other theme parks on the same stage. 

In fact, the Yangtze River Delta, which is one of the most economically developed regions in China, has become the most prosperous area for China's theme parks. According to the "2018 Ching Ming Holiday Tourism and Scenic Consumption Report" released by the China Tourism Research Institute, during the Qingming Holidays, Happy Valley, Disney, and Changzhou Dinosaur Park are among the top ten destinations, and the popularity of theme parks has always been very high. At the same time, according to the “Global Travel Market Trend Report” issued by Euromonitor International in 2016, China’s theme park retail sales will reach USD$12 billion by 2020, an increase of 367% compared to 2010, and the average number of visitors per day will exceed 0.33 Billion visitors, which will become the largest theme park market in the world.
